We have three steps we’re working through:

1) Become a FireWise neighborhood
2) Have a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP)
3) Become a Fire Adapted community

We’ve completed 1 & 2, and will start on 3 in 2016.

Why Do A CWPP?

In fewer than a thousand words, we’re doing the CWPP because its a proven method to achieve resources (aka, labor and funds) to reduce our area’s fire danger, to have a plan for emergencies, and to build good relationships with our wildfire responders.
