Our New Look

Welcome neighbors, to our new community website.  I hope you like the look; it is much easier to use than the old, and brings great new features.  I’ve moved all the old content into this new site, and closed out the old wiki.

Please register yourself (see menu, towards the bottom), this will allow you to comment and contribute.  Sorry, I was unable to bring over all the old user accounts.  I’ll ask some of you to volunteer as site admins, and others to be editors, but first all of us must register.

Thanx!

Treating the “Gauntlet”!!

The oak-choked “Gauntlet” along Mt. Herman Lane

We have a volunteer project scheduled for April 4, 2015 to clear the “Gauntlet”, one of the most hazardous areas in our Community.  CUSP, the Air Force Academy football team and some local homeowners will help.

CUSP at the Gauntlet

Today, a hand crew from the Coalition for the Upper South Platte worked to thin scrub oak from our gauntlet area.  Stop and tell them thanx if you see them!

Another SWIFT Mitigation Started

Another of our homeowners has commenced scrub oak mitigation with the SWIFT crew.  Thanx Toni, for reducing our overall neighborhood fuel load!  That brings us to six properties that have used the SWIFT crew so far.
