Saturday morning, August 1st we’ll have Keith Worley come by to assess several homes for risk of ignition from embers, and easy fixes we can do. We will select homes during our July 7th CWPP meeting.

4th of July BBQ at Quinton & Sharann’s
Everyone is invited to the Quinton Turner and Sharann Mills 4th of July (Saturday) BBQ Party starting at around 3:00pm and going on all night. Bring a dish and your favorite drink. Also, you can bring fireworks for the kids. Sleep-over in tents and campers, OK.

Mt Herman Receives Recognition as a Firewise Community!!
Congratulations! We have joined approximately 1,000 other U.S. Firewise Communities recognized for empowering neighbors to work together to reduce their wildfire risk. According to Firewise, “Scientific research has shown the effectiveness and benefits of implementing wildfire mitigation concepts across individual property boundaries and throughout communities.” Thanks all for pulling together as a neighborhood over the past year! CWPP Meeting Tonight
Reminder: Our monthly CWPP meeting is tonight, 18:30, at Mark & Diane’s home. We expect a shorter meeting than usual; we’ll focus the agenda on a few announcements and finishing the project prioritization. See ye there!
